Fashion Stop!

Oh it’s a hard job being a female sometimes. Fashion is constantly changing, who can afford to keep up? Here are some more fashion tips to glaze over. Envelope clutch bags are still going strong. I bagged myself a large black and snake skin (fake of course) one last year and I still love it.




The blazer is another wardrobe staple; you can’t go wrong with and is still going strong for 2009. Team it with a jeans and a nice pair of heels. It will also look nice with a dress, or some nice tailored shorts. I am yet to find a nice fitted blazer hmmmm.



Lastly the exposed zip, whether it is on dresses, (I spotted a nice midnight blue style in New Look for £30- not bad!) leggings, skirts, jacket's or even shoes. The exposed zip is the way forward and apparently going to be big this year. You better start saving from now. Zip it good, zip it real good!

Mr Sean Combs really is like Marmite; you either love him or hate him! After watching “I want to work for Diddy” a US version of The Apprentice. I have to give him his dues. I know many people see him as arrogant which he can be at times plus rude, but there is no denying he has worked VERY HARD to get to where he is today.

Hands up I applied to be his personal assistant two years ago. Did I really want to work for the Diddy slave master? I’m not so sure but it would have got me into New York City. We have witnessed him pushing people beyond their limits- (walk over Brooklyn Bridge for cheesecake -Making the Band). His intimidating behaviour and diva tantrums on his reality show. This man would have made me forget I go to church every Sunday lol lol…

That aside I have always admired him for his confidence/arrogance, determination, assertiveness and my man does have swagger! His motto, which I am trying to adopt for 2009, is sleep is not an option. He recently said in an interview “that he would sleep when he dies.” Who say’s that? Hard working focused people say that, that’s who! You know what rhyme’s with tired right….FIRED!!!!

You know Diddy is never happy with just one empire oh no, he’s a true entrepreneur. With his Sean John clothing range, perfume, aftershave, Justin’s restaurants, Bad Boy Entertainment, numerous reality programmes. This man is truly a brand within him self can’t stop, won’t stop!

Fashion Stop!

Quick ways too update the dull winter attire, the leather driving glove. This fashion accessory is too hot to not own at least one pair. I own a purple and red pair and am hoping to bag a yellow pair before the months out. As I said before try to avoid black as I'm sure you all have more than enough black in your wardrobe already lol. Plus these wont break the bank, you can pick up a pair for £6. Go on be brave and daring and clash a bright pair of gloves with a red, navy or grey coat. I dare ya!

Mel B anyone?

Is it me or is Mel B looking good? I have to give props where props are due and my girl’s body is looking on point. Now I've been going to the gym for nearly a year now and my abs still don't quite look like this, although I’m not that far off me thinks. A friend of mine has just brought the DVD good luck!
Not meaning to sound sceptical but it’s not really hard for these celebs to look good is it?!??! I don’t doubt that they don’t work extremely hard to achieve the perfect body- whatever that is. However they don’t really have to be at work for 9am everyday giving them more time than the average every day person. Then they have personal trainers who can push them way beyond their limits. Unlike me who after jogging for 20mins and the stitch kicks in decides to throw in the towel. Not good enough really! I’m sure they all have nutritionists and personal chefs who can cook healthy but appealing food. Endless money to look groomed beyond perfection, and when their hair sweats out they can go to the salon or call their personal hair dresser round to salvage the look.

Hey Ladies I've been saying for a minute that this is the season for colours. Now if you don’t have the funds to be buying a new coat, bag or shoes every week. Then invest in accessories which can include make-up YEAH!

Milly Tilly told me about this website called scandalous beauty. I must say I am very impressed, not only does it advise you on skin and make-up products. It also has video clips demonstrating on how to apply your make-up. This is excellent news as I still haven’t mastered the whole smokey- eye effect, and for all those who tried to mock me wearing blue eye shadow you’ll see….

Trends for 2009

Since my blog unveiling, I have failed to cover any aspects of fashion. So here goes… I have already stated I have a major shoe fetish and this seasons trends include ruffles especially the T-bar style, and statement shoes are BIG. New Look has a nice selection that won’t break the bank. It is not about black BORING!!!!! Go for something more daring like red or yellow.



I like the ones below but they are not practical for every day wear.



Bold colour's are still representing for 2009. The colour of the season is going to be orange so fashion experts claim. Bring it on I’m going to bag myself a coupe of frocks from now. Along with yellows, pink which is hot at the mo and electric blue!




Jumpsuits make a return! I doubt I'll be following this trend but never say never!



Leggings are still going strong- cheap and cheerful. Who would have thought the good old trouser staple from my school hey day would have made such a strong come back! Not for those who are a little conscious about their derriere.



Statement jewellery is going to be very big this year. Large chunky bracelets, earrings and statement necklaces will really vamp up your look.
